Plein Air Rossmore - Summer Sessions

SUMMER SESSIONS:
Join artist Lynsey this summer for a series of inspiring plein air painting sessions in the beautiful surroundings of Rossmore Forest Park. These outdoor workshops are designed to help participants slow down, connect with nature, and capture the beauty of the landscape through paint.

Working directly from observation, Lynsey will guide participants through the essentials of plein air painting, including composition, perspective, colour mixing, and responding to changing light and weather conditions. Through demonstrations, practical guidance, and individual tuition, participants will gain confidence in painting quickly and expressively while developing their own artistic style.

Suitable for all abilities, these relaxed and welcoming sessions are ideal for complete beginners as well as those looking to build confidence and refine their outdoor painting practice.

Each workshop lasts 3 hours. All painting materials and equipment are provided, and participants will leave with a finished painting and the confidence to continue painting outdoors independently.

Booking Options

• Single Session: €55
• Any Two Sessions: €100
• All Three Sessions: €145

Discounted rates apply only when multiple sessions are booked together at the time of booking. Individual sessions booked separately are charged at the standard rate of €55 per session.

What to Bring

Please dress appropriately for the weather and for walking on park trails. Participants are encouraged to bring an apron and wipes or a cloth to help protect clothing while painting.

Workshops will take place outdoors and will proceed in most weather conditions.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

As places are limited, workshop bookings are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, please notify Lynsey as soon as possible. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before a workshop may be transferred to an alternative session, subject to availability. Unfortunately, cancellations made within 48 hours of a workshop cannot be transferred or refunded.
